Hi again If you read my first post, thank you for staying close enough to still be here for this one. It's been a while. Life has a way of moving us along even when we're not looking, and I promised myself I'd come back and tell you more of the story. So here I am.
A lot has shifted since that first post, and some of it is quiet, the kind of shift you feel more than you can explain. I'm still walking the same path of self discovery I wrote about back then, still learning, still not claiming to have all the answers. I don't think that part ever fully finishes, and I've made peace with that. I'll just say this gently: I feel more grounded in who I am now than I did when I wrote to you last, more at home in my own mind, body, and spirit. That's really all that part needs to be. The rest of this update is about something I'm much more excited to tell you about in detail.
The name changed. Here's why.
You may have noticed the name is different now. Igniting Hearts Within became Conscious Hearth, and that wasn't a small decision or a random one. I worked through it with the help of a dear friend, Emily Positano of Made Better Brands, who sat with me while I sorted through pages of ideas and half formed names, and helped me find my way to the one that actually fit. I'm so grateful to her for that. Sometimes you need someone outside of your own head to help you see what's been forming all along.
Conscious Hearth fits because both words mean something to me, specifically.
Conscious speaks to my soul. It's the part of myself I strive to keep in alignment with every day, in mind, body, and spirit, showing up guided by faith in the divine for my family and for my work.
Hearth speaks to my soul too, differently. It's my innate spiritual center, the heart of the home, the sacred center of home and life. It's my space of warmth and security, and it anchors me in mind, body, and spirit in everything I do.
Put together, that's the whole of what I'm trying to build here. Not just a business name, but a true description of the place I work from.
Where the Real Growth Happened.
If thereās one thing this journey has taught me, itās that spirituality isnāt something I can place inside a single box anymore.
Over the years Iāve explored many different paths, each one offering its own wisdom and helping me see life through a slightly different lens. Rather than finding one belief system that held all the answers, I found myself gathering pieces that all seemed to point back to the same quiet truth: that healing begins by coming home to ourselves and remembering our connection to the Creator, to the Earth, and to one another.
Looking back, I realize the greatest transformation didnāt come from learning another modality. It came from slowing down enough to let life itself become my teacher. When I first began this journey, I was already a Reiki Master, mostly practicing on myself and with close friends and family. As the years unfolded, my love of gardening deepened into a fascination with the wisdom of plants. I immersed myself in herbalism, Ayurvedic traditions,Ā Qigong, and journeying through the nine rites of the Munay-Kiānot because I was searching for another title, but because each experience invited me to understand myself, nature, and the deeper rhythms of life in a more meaningful way. Much of that growth happened quietly. It happened in the garden. In seasons of shadow work.
In conversations with trusted teachers and friends who lovingly challenged me to see beyond what I thought I knew. Iām especially grateful for my coach, whose guidance helped me move beyond simply collecting knowledge and into living it with greater intention and authenticity. Over time, those experiences changed the way I related to the plants I grow. They were no longer just herbs and flowers. They became teachers. I began to understand how careful cultivation, intention, and the natural gifts of the Earth could come together to create something tangibleāsomething that could gently support another personās own journey home to themselves. That understanding slowly became practice. And practice became the heart of my work. What began as a handful of herbal botanical infusions, teas and salves shared with people I loved has grown into an intentional collection that I now create from bloom to bottle. Most of what goes into my flower essence oils is grown in my own garden, nurtured through the seasons and crafted with care. When thereās something I canāt grow myself, I source it thoughtfully, making sure the same integrity carries through every ingredient. That patience understanding wasnāt something I had in the beginning. It was cultivated one season at a time. Now that passion and growth is finally becoming something far bigger than I ever imagined when I wrote my very first post to you.
The next chapter: the apothecary opens August 7th
On August 7th, the Conscious Hearth apothecary officially opens, and it feels like the natural next step of everything I just told you about. Three essence oils I've been thoughtfully created will be there: Sacred & Free, Unbound, and Divine Inner Oracle, each one carrying its own intention, its own blend, its own reason for existing. Alongside them, the tea line I've been building will finally be available too: Sacral Moon Tea, Dream Tea, Sol Fire Tea, and Peace Tea.
This isn't a hard sell, and I don't want it to read like one. I just want you to know it's coming, and that it's real, and that it comes out of actual years of learning and doing, not something I put together overnight. If any of it calls to you when the time comes, I'll be glad you're there. And if you're just here reading along on your own path, I hope some part of this update helps you feel a little less alone in wherever you're growing right now too.
Thank you, again, for being here.
Love and Light,
Veronica of Conscious Hearth
